Saved the life of my 700p

Pros:
Helps break fall if Treo is dropped
Cons:
Tabs holding it together can be easily broken
I see 2 stars as the average rating for this device. I give it 5 only because it has saved the existence of my 700p on several occasions. :-) I have the clip from Seidio that is supposed to accompany this case. The clip tends to get snagged by items I might be carrying, and my Treo ends up on the floor/ground as a result.
I cringe each time the phone falls, but this particular case acts as a crash helmet: it pops open upon impact, but I believe that causes the bulk of the shock to be transferred to the case instead of to the innards of my Treo.
Im on my second one of these cases, and the reason Im on number two has to do with the con which I noted. The tabs holding the case together on the first one got crushed by having to piece the case back together after an unfortunate fall. It got to the point where I could not keep the case together. I eventually had to buy another one. So far, this one has not had the same problem, and I have tried not to "ham-fist" the thing into going together after a fall, no matter the amount of my frustration.
Recommended product for folks with an extended battery. :-)
